SONGWRITING WORKSHOP FOR KIDS!

 

Join songwriter Tom Gleason for a special few hours of fun and creativity, helping to develop the abilities of the songwriters of tomorrow.

 

The event will be held on March 1st at 12:00 noon at Soule Culinary and Art Studio - 800 Ocean Road, Suite 1 Point Pleasant, NJ - Fee $75

 

This two hour workshop, for kids ages ten and up, will discuss the structure and process of creating a song - then with Tom’s guidance, the kids will write their own song from scratch as a group. This method encourages critical, creative thinking, teamwork and problem solving and is a great deal of fun. It is not necessary for kids to have musical abilities.

 

Tom brings a keyboard and computer to sing and record the song as it progresses. By the end of the workshop the kids will have completed an entire song. Tom then goes back to his recording studio and records a final professional version of the song available on CD or as an MP3 file.
